Sports Psychologist Jobs

Would you like to join our team?

We are in the process of overhauling our recruitment procedures. In the meantime, if you’re interested in finding out more about the requirements of joining the Condor Performance Dream Team as one of our consulting psychologists, flick Gareth a quick email here and introduce yourself.

Do you think your passion and knowledge of sport gives you an edge over other psychologists? Prove it here.

5 simple steps to apply to one of our sports psychologist jobs

  1. Create a 5-minute application video

As the first step, please create a five-minute application video in your own time, highlighting your strengths and why you’d be a great fit to support athletes, coaches, sporting officials and performers. Complete the second step before you get to submitting the video.

  2. Complete 2 online assessments

After completing your application video, you’ll then complete two online assessments. The first is an online sports assessment to help us understand your knowledge of and interest in different sports. The second is an online cognitive assessment so we can learn more about you.

  3. Submit your application

Once you’ve finished both assessments, just send us an email to let us know they’re done, attach your application video, and send it through to our General Manager, David (david@condorperformance.com), and our Founding Sport Psychologist, Gareth (gareth@condorperformance.com).

  4. Take part in a train-viewing day

The next step is a train-viewing day, where you’ll get some basic training and onboarding while we get to know how you work. It usually runs for one full day and will show you how to handle incoming enquiries while helping build your skills in any performance psychology consulting gaps.

  5. It's now time to perform

If you respond well to the train-viewing day, we’ll usually make a formal job offer soon after. You’ll start on 10 flexible hours per week, with pay aligned to industry standards in your country, and there’ll be room for both your hours and rate to grow based on your performance.

Here's a few things to keep in mind

Please note that you must be a fully registered psychologist in the country where you live to progress through the stages below. If you’re in training, for example, as a student or a provisionally registered psychologist, please add your details here to receive email notifications about upcoming opportunities for those who haven’t yet become fully qualified.

With all this in mind, we wish you the best of luck. We hope that this information page is sufficiently detailed to reduce the number of questions that you have before commencing the application process. However, if you need to know something before getting started, please email your question to David using the above email.
